Hundreds of Turkish-Australians and Turkish residents of Australia flocked to diplomatic posts in Australia to cast their votes in country's historic elections.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to same analysts, is facing the greatest challenge of his career with a six party coalition united to field the leader of the main opposition party Kemal Kilicdaroglu against him.
Voting will continue until 9 May in Australia. People of Turkiye will go to polls on 14 May. In the case of no candidate to cross over 50% of the votes, top two contenders to face-off in the second round. Two other candidates are also on the polling papers, accused of breaking the opposition votes.
