Russian leader laid out his demands for peace with Ukraine to the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a phone call on Thursday.
BBC's John Simpson spoke to Erdogan's long term advisor Ibrahim Kalin, who listened the call, about Putin's demands.
According to the BBC story Putin's demands are as follows:
Ukraine to remain neutral and not to apply to NATO
Ukraine to disarm itself
Ukraine to commit to the protection of Russian language
Ukraine to carry out a process of de-Nazification
Other issues, according to Kalin, were also raised including the situation of Donbas region and Crimea's annexation. Kalin told Simpson that Putin said that these would require face to face negotiations between Putin and Zelensky.
