Minister Mark Coure has attended a rally with political demands, organised by the Australian-Armenian community, and enthusiastically endorsed the genocide word to label the events of 1915 in the Ottoman Empire.
Coure's acts as the minister for multiculturalism has drawn strong criticism from 60-thousand strong Australian-Turkish community across NSW.
A letter undersigned by more than 20 prominent organisations is to be delivered to the minister and the Premier this week.
The letter is expected to underline community's concerns about the minister's understanding of multiculturalism, harmony and social cohesion.
