Israeli Forces Kill Al Jazeera Journalist.

Palestinian rights advocates are urging the United States to reassess its "unconditional support" for Israel in the aftermath of the death of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. Abu Akleh, a US citizen, was shot dead by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank this week.

A journalist named Shireen Abu Akleh was killed by Israeli forces while she was working in Jenin. She was wearing a vest that said "PRESS" on it, and was standing with other journalists when she was shot.

At least 45 journalists have been killed by Israeli forces since 2000, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Information.

The Palestinian Journalists’ Union places the death toll higher at 55 killed.
