Veteran Turkish journalist Gurkan Zengin has labelled latest diplomatic manoeuvres by Greece against Turkey as an extension of Athen's "vulture diplomacy" which helps Turkey's small neighbour expands its sovereignty over former Ottoman lands since 1881.
Tensions between Turkey and Greece have escalated recently with the Greek claims over Mediterranean and Aegean Seas deemed unacceptable by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
A retired Greek general even suggested to bomb bridges linking Turkey's Asian side to its European side pre-emptively to take the upper hand on the debate.
